The gospel community in South Sudan is mourning the untimely passing of beloved gospel minister Leilah Suzan, whose music and ministry touched countless lives. In the midst of tributes pouring in, Gospel Minister and MC Destined Moses has issued a heartfelt call for change in how love and appreciation are expressed among people especially while they are still alive.

When she was alive, we barely saw this kind of love… Why do we paint brighter love only when someone is no more?

Can this narrative change? Can we start giving flowers now, not at funerals but in real time? Let’s intensify our love, beginning with those who are alive now."

Leilah Suzan was known for her powerful voice, spiritual depth, and unwavering commitment to gospel ministry. Her sudden departure has left a gap in the hearts of many within the church and music communities.
