TRIPLE P performing live
Sunday Mapuor Ater famously known as “Triple P” is one of the most adorable and influential artists in South Sudan Today.
A Sudanese child growing up and studying in the city of Kampala is hard at times when he or she settles for music career instead of being a doctor or an engineer but Triple credits his family for upbringing and nurturing of his talent.
Born in 1996, Triple P is the second born in a family of five children and younger to his older sister who graduated from Makerere last year. Triple P has been around the music scene for as long as he can remember.
From as early as 2010 Triple P could be seen singing in schools he studied in Uganda. You would find him surrounded by students of St. Lawrence(Crown City), Kajjansi, Kisubi and Greenlight high school listening to his raps in school rap battles where he emerged top.
He has music in his blood, and he is ever ready to perform whenever wherever. “It's an in born talent in my family blood, my grandfather was a musician Madol Meen Kujak well known in Agaar community and my uncle too.
So I found myself doing music automatically because sometimes songs keep running in my mind without my concern when I was young” Triple P disclosed to Hamster TV.

Triple P is that kind of artist who really careless when it comes to place or time to perform.
He usually performs upon anyone’s request at any place at any time.
This has made him very popular among South Sudanese children, men, women and the youths all cross South Sudan and Uganda.
Although relatively new to the mainstream music scene, Triple P toured Lakes State last year where he was adored by fans of all ages! Triple P is dubbed as one of the emerging talents of 2018 and 2019 after his switch to Jiengtone where he released “nyan dhëŋ puöu, tiŋ ril puöu and Yina anhiar he featured with Professor K.
In an interview he held with Hamster TV, Triple P revealed that he has signed CEO of Team No Jealous, John Saber Marial Jongdït as his manager in which he believe will pave a way for his music success.
“I'm now with John Saber Marial, a very determined manager who is ready to take my music to the next level, So I've taken it(opportunity) with both hands as I am now working on projects that will not only delight my fans but also light up their souls”.

Besides his music career, Triple P sat for O&A level and passed with flying colours and is now one year away from becoming an IT guru at Ndejje University-Kampala Branch (third year student).
